Finally, a family portrait. This has been put off for way to long. We went out a few weeks ago to have our pictures taken. Believe or not we went to my not so favorite portrait studio JCPenney! And would you know we ended up getting the same woman from the first time I was there. If any of you remember my post on that you would totally understand. It was not a good first impression of JCPenney! Well I decided to give it another shot since I had coupons, I mean how bad could it be right? Well it was even worse than my first experience. For one, the woman who did our shoot just doesn't have patience for children. Now tell me why in the world does she work at a portrait studio! Once again I felt as if I was being rushed through my shoot. So we ended up getting about 13 frames, but she said we had 30. Maybe hubby and I can't count, I guess we both were absent from elementary school during the counting lesson. This time I definitely learned my lesson. No more JCPenney portraits for me (I mean it this time), we are sticking with The Picture People!

We're Back!
Hello Blog Buddies!
It has been 6 months since I've blogged! There has been so many things going on I don't know where to start. Well let start by saying that Mr. C is now a little man! He is 16 months old and on a mission. We have been having a blast now that he is a toddler. We hold conversations together (yes he can talk), we go out and play together (I'm a big kid), we go out to eat together, heck we do everything together. He truly is my BUDDY. I don't know if any of you remember the dolls from the 80's, My Buddy and Kid Sister, well Mr. C is My Buddy!
All the fun we were having came to a sudden halt in April! I ended up getting a job that I thought I wanted. I think I was at a point in my life where I felt like it was time for me to go back to work. Well that I did! My first day of work Mr. C woke up in the middle of the night with a temperature of 102. Hubby had to take off from work (since it was my first day) to take Mr. C to the doctor. To our surprise Mr. C had a double ear infection. Therefore he missed his first 2 days of daycare. Bad start right there! Well a few weeks later Mr. C had another ear infection. Hubby had to take off from work once again. And what do you know as soon as he finished his antibiotics, ear infection. So all this is going on while I'm working. Not to mention the problems we were having at daycare. Mr. C somehow developed an interest in biting other children. About three weeks into daycare we started receiving notices home that he was biting the children. This was about once a week then it progressed to just about everyday. I was at wits end with all of this. It was starting to be overwhelming. Here is my child biting other children and I couldn't do much about it because I wasn't there to see and he's never done it in front of me. So the conclusion of it all was to leave my job to go back home and take care of my child.
There it is blog buddies. You will start hearing much more from me. I must turn in now as it is way past my bed time. Pictures of Mr. C will follow later.
Ciao per ora!
(Bye for now!)

The Jolly Old Guy
That's right, Mr. C had his picture taken with Santa! He loved it. I thought he would be a little scared of Santa but boy was I wrong. He enjoyed sitting there with Santa. Well he didn't actually sit. I had to keep chasing after him because he wanted to explore around the studio. The photographer did happen to get a few good shots though.

Throwback Thursday
Here is Mr. C at 2 months old. I love looking at these pictures. I look back at these and I look at him now and I just can't believe that he is about to be a year old already. I really do miss the days when he was this age where I could just sit and hold him and stare him and he wouldn't try to fight me to get down. My little baby boy is growing up so fast I don't know where the time went. I know understand what people mean when they say "Don't rush for them to walk and talk, enjoy them while they are still babies." I can say that I enjoyed my Mr. C. Actually I am still enjoying him when I can. Now that he is mobile (thinking he can walk), he just wants to crawl around and explore. When he is all worn out and tired that's when I get my cuddle time with him. I am really going to miss these days when he is a true big boy and off to school. Why can't we keep this at this age forever??? Well, I'll always have my pictures to remind me of those precious days when he was a little stinky binky baby! Mommy loves you soooooooo much! xoxoxoxoxo

First Thanksgiving
Mr. C celebrated his very first Thanksgiving with all his family. We are so thankful to have relatives who are so loving and giving. I can't wait until Mr. C is old enough to understand how important family is and how blessed he is to have such wonderful people in his life.
Early this morning we headed back home to visit relatives and to get our grub on. Mr. C didn't waste any time stuffing his face. He enjoyed the food from every house we went to. We we to three different places and Mr. C ate at all three. This was the first time he's seen so much food and he didn't want any of it to go to waste.
