It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

Today we followed Bam Bam as he chased after the Great Pumpkin. The family along with some friends from the "New Mom's Group" went pumpkin picking today at Larriland Farm.
The babies enjoyed testing each pumpkin for firmness, roll-ability and taste. Mr. C picked the perfect pumpkin for carving. Ria and Leora picked up a few good pumpkins also. It was the perfect fall day for picking pumpkins. Join us on our journey below.

Jamaica "Pictures"

Eaten Alive

So if you've been keeping track of the blog I had a post up last month about Mr. C cutting teeth. Well the teeth are in and as a result he is munching down on any and every thing. This little turtle here was eaten alive by Mr. C the other day. This turtle dangles from his exersaucer he has. He pulls everything off of it and starts gnawing on it. Well the other day I had him in his exersaucer while I was getting his clothes together. I came out to get him so I could change his diaper and start getting him dressed. Well I noticed a bunch of green specs on his chest and was wondering what it was. I went back into the living room and found the turtle lying on the floor with some of the green paint missing. I looked over at Mr. C as if to say "How could you do this to Mr. Turtle"??? Then I started thinking about lead paint. After contemplating on whether to call the doctor or not I took a deep breath and said "Ok don't panic, he'll be ok. He didn't consume to much of the paint and if so it will come out in his poo" I'm so not trying to be that panicky parent that calls the doctor for every little thing. So far I've been pretty good. Mr. C has been pretty healthy. He hasn't been sick a day in his little life and hasn't had any major injuries, so I think we're doing alright. I'm sure everything I just mention will be coming our way soon. When it does that's when I'll be the panicky parent!

Play Date

On Tuesday we headed over to the library for story time. We listened to several stories about puppies which the babies loved. Afterwards, they broke out the balls and the babies went wild. Mostly just eating the balls. Everything in sight is edible.

Earlier today Emily2 put together a mom/baby outing at a boutique called Little Sunshine Trading Company. They had tons of cute stuff. The babies enjoyed themselves in the playroom while the mom's looked around.

Mr. C was checking out the stuffed animals.

Baby In A Box

Ok....we didn't do a soap box derby but we did play hide the baby in the box. Several weeks ago Mr. C came across the diaper box and totally lost it. I unloaded the diapers and had the box in the living room and from that point on Mr. C was totally into the box. He had a time with this box as you can see below. I don't know what it is with babies and boxes but they seem to love them.

Mr. C almost gave me a heart attack several weeks ago. Hubby and I was in the kitchen and Mr. C was in the living banging on the coffee table. I happened to look over and he was standing in front of the table trying to fix his sleeve on his shirt. I ran into the living room so fast afraid he was going to fall face first on the table. Well to my surprise he was standing on his own and he eventually just fell back on his booty. He has been doing this just about everyday now. He'll pull up on something let his hands go and see how long he can stand before falling. I finally caught on video. Take a look.

Vow Renewal in Negril, Jamaica

It's only been a little over a year since Harlan and I got married but after our vow renewal ceremony it feels like we were just married. The ceremony was beautiful and we thank everyone for sharing in this moment with us. For those who could not make it, here are a few pictures from our second big day.

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. (Ephesians 5:31)

A Vacation To Remember

We are finally back home and getting back to our normal lives. We were away in Negril, Jamaica for a week and loved every moment of our time there. We traveled to Jamaica with our friends and family to re-new our vows. Everyone had a wonderful time. The weather was great, the food was delicious and the resort was beautiful. Below are a few pictures of the family having an awesome time at Beaches Negril. I'll post pictures of the wedding ceremony in a different post.

Mr. C & Daddy enjoying the water. During the entire trip Mr. C wanted to spend most of his time in the water. He also enjoyed munching down on some mango and pineapple. He really enjoyed himself.

Heading out to sea on the glass bottom boat. Mr. C is such a big boy!

Family Portrait. Say cheese!!!

Mr. C loving the sand.
